Day out with YW

In the afternoon, went to Suntec City as Body Shop was having a sale there.
So i asked YW to acc me there. Des couldn't join us as Jeff told him last min tt the bb training is still on.
When we reach there, the crowd wasn't that huge as I've expected.
So i went to get the stuffs that my mum asked me to buy for my brother.
It was selling the usual products as those shops in the malls.
I din get any make up-products as i dun usually put on make-ups.
The passion fruit shower gel tt i wanted to get was out of stock. So i only got myself a box.

Some of the Singaporeans there are so kiasu when it comes to sales. People there were like pushing their way through, intentionally blocking other ppl's way, grabbing the things like as if it was free.

These are the things tt i purchased.

So after that, both of us went shopping and eating.
We came across an Italian brand 'Gas' having sales and we went to take a look at the clothes there.
The original price was crazy, and the sales price is so cheap.

Anyway we kept choosing, trying, and we changing. Haha.

It was fun.

So we each bought a skirt.

I bought a yellow skirt.

Haha. Most of the Italian designed wears tt i come acrossed have a beautiful range of vibrant colours. So ya, I like tt. Hahas.
Many pants and tops din have my size, so i wasn't able to enjoy the cheap sale :(

I enjoyed myself ALOT today. It's been so long since the two of us went shopping tgt. Haha.

Our first attempt to bake cookies and make honey cornflakes at YW's hse was a success!

Met up with YW for lunch at J8, bought the ingredients that we need. Afterwhich, Kel joined us and we headed back to YW's hse.

It's been 3-4 yrs since i've last went to her hse.

Yupx, saw her brother and sister.

Walked back home after tt as YW's hse is just 8mins walk to my hse.

When i brought home the food for my family to try, they said tt it's nt too bad.

Hahas.

Even grandma said that the cookies gou wei dao.

Bro ate 3-4 pieces tt night.

Changi Airport with Daph

Today!
Headed down to SIM to settle my application stuffs- finally done.
Afternoon, went to Changi Airport with Daph instead of watching a movie.
Lunch at Changi Airport, Popeye, den went to the viewing gallery.
The viewing gallery at T3 is quite a small area, and the design of it is kinda weird, two big pane of glass before your eyes. You'll know what am i referring to when u get there.
Anyway, i personally feel that the viewing gallery at other terminals is much better, where you can get a clearer view of the aeroplanes taking off and landing when you stick your face to the glass, w/o a double glass to block our view.
Haha.
At night, went down to my grandpa's place as my relative from TW came and is staying at my grandpa's place.

Having sec school chalet over the weekends, and i can only squeeze out my time on sat, as i have tennis lesson on fri and church on sun.
Pondering over whether to go cuz i have some misunderstanding with a few of my sec clz girls 2 yrs back, due to them knowing tt i dun really like their 'way of life'.
Daph also said tt nt too close with them may also be good to me as there maybe peer pressure to keep wanting to hang out late and stuffs, doing the things that my parents doesn't really want me to do.
So yarx.
Anw I'm alr grateful for the friends i have made in jc, clz and odac, sec sch clz and girl guides, and my girlfriends who have been tgt with me since pri sch, 2 of my church girls where one grew up with me since we were babies :) hahas.
If it's all guys i still dun mind as on and off we'll meet up, but i've nt seen or even contact the few girls for so long.

Movie

Yesterday went down to SIM with PY and Daph to sign up. Thought that i can settle everything ytd, BUT i need to go down today cuz i've forgotten to bring my O-lvl cert.
-_- i thought a-lvl cert will be enough.

Anw in the afternoon, went to watch movie The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep with Desmond.

The show's not too bad.

Dreamt of him AGAIN. Argh. Y him? It's like we've drifted apart and yet he kept appearing in my dreams. Argh. The feeling sucks. It will just make me think of the memories back then :( haiz

Dad went overseas today morning for his business trip in China. This trip will be long. Do take care dad!

At night, went out with primary school girls YW, Kel, Char to Victoria Theatre to support SP as she's performing. After that we cam-whore near the Singapore River. At ard ten, YW's bf picked us up and we went for supper at TP. Stingray and rojak. After which YW and her bf sent me hm.

Played tennis in the morning.

It's different from playing tennis at night due to the scorching sun.

It's hard to look at the tennis ball when the sun's shinning directly at yr face.

SATURDAY

At night, had a dinner treat at Swensens by Ms Tan with 2SO7. But in the end we din want her to pay the full amount, so she just paid for the desserts.

A total of 15 of us went, 4 girls, 11 guys, and Ms Tan.
Chatted alot. But din really talk to some of the classmates as they sat at the other end of the long table. Took alot of pictures.

As usual, church in the morning.

Then went shopping at VivoCity with my cousins and aunt, had teabreak at a German restautant, bought chocolates, went to Central, bought some buns, den headed down to Indonesian Restaurant along at Riverside Clark Quey for dinner.

Korean dramas

These few days been staying at home as a couch potato, watching korean dramas.
Hahas.
I finally finish watching korean drama 达子的春天.

It's a little boring at the beginning, but towards the centre, the drama gets nicer.

The main guy character is cute, hahas. I've watch his other drama where he acts as a personal security. That drama 真的真的喜欢你 is nicer than 达子的春天。

Yes, it's him. Haha.

AGAIN, I skipped twice when i told them i was going.

Why again?

Because of peer pressure...

Argh.

Uni courses

I've more or less decided on which course i'm taking.

University of London- Accountancy and Finance will be my top choice.

As for engineering in local uni, i'll consider again, cuz my aunt and RP said tt accountancy is more suitable for me.

I've discussed with mum, as dad is in Korea for his business trip, tt she and dad will still allow me to complete my last yr in UK, provided my results are good (argh this is like soo...)

PY and Daph are also applying for UOL, hope tt my gd friends will be in the same course as me!

Nxt tue, I'll be meeting up with them to send our application form.

Later in the evening, will be meeting my primary school friends for SiPing's dance concert at Victoria Theatre.

Yupx, to show our support for her.

Lyn won't be going as she is now having attachment and nds to work OT.

So it'll be me, YW, Kel and Char.

SINGAPORE AIRSHOW 2008!
Using my dad's D80, which is a thousand times clearer and sharper compared to my digital cam.
We went on the 1st day, during the trade show.
Saw the minister of defence, and when he went past us, he waved to us.
Alot of angmos in their smart office jackets, everyone was dressed up so nicely.
Looking around, it seems like me and my brother were the youngest ppl there. Hahas. Cuz it's a trade show.
So there wasnt as much ppl as compared to the show opened to public.
It was great! The clear view of the planes zooming past our faces, fabulous stunts by the pilots.
I enjoyed myself alot tt day :)
I love going to airshows every year. Hahas.

I like the Black Knights Airshow the most! :)

I called Jenny to see if she's free at abt 1pm, den since the guys were alr outside, so we decided to join them, and i called daph along as well.
We caught the 3pm show, but we girls were late by 15 mins.
Haha. But still the show was not too bad.
After the show, we had LJS, den we went to PS to shop.

Oh man, I just hate this.
I just came back from SIM with PY, and you know what? The person told me tt for all the courses in RMIT except accountancy, we can go to Australia to complete the last year there.
EXCEPT ACCOUNTANCY.
So this means that if i take accountancy, i will not be able to complete my last year in Australia. So i have to complete the 3.5 yrs in Singapore.
THIS IS BAD.
*sigh*
I've really HOPED to get into accountancy so tt i can study overseas, BUT now...

ARGH...
I so badly, wanna experience studying overseas!!
it seems like when my parents have alr decided to allow me to complete my last year overseas, this chance just slipped off...

So what now?
ACCA? UOL? or I'll continue with RMIT? or shld i sign up for engineering?

Probably if i really want to go overseas tt much, i'll just go for UOL and complete my last year in UK (provided my grades are gd, there is vacency for tt course), and provided my parents allow me to go to UK instead of their initial plan.

Yesterday, went out with bro and my two aunts for lunch at a Japanese restaurant. The foods nt too bad, price is resonable as well. Its located in the business district, somewhere near raffles MRT station, so during lunch time, there's alot of working adults having their meal there. Around that area, there is a wide variety of food.
Hmm, one day, I should find some time to explore around that area. Haha. So many nice food there!

At night, went to a German restaurant at VivoCity to celebrate my dad's birthday in advance. As he flew off to Korea this morning and his birthday is on the 15th March.
We ordered pork knuckles and sausage platter, each for two, and we also ordered beer!
Haha. The last time we went there, dad also allowed me and bro to order a beer each :)
We were so full that we didn't order any desserts.

The restaurant has a nice view, where it's facing Sentosa.

It also has nice embience too.
The place was almost full ytd night, even during a thur night, imagine weekends...
Haha :)

For today, went to take BTT trail in the late morning, failed again, 44/50.
But at least this time i know where i've gone wrong.
After which, I went to Bishan library to borrow some books on the course that i'm intending to study, which is books on accounting and finance.
After some discussion with my parents and aunts and advice given by them, I've decided to apply for a about 4 choices, but the main one wiill still be RMIT Accountancy.
During the discussion with my dad ytd afternoon, he said tt he'll prefer me to study accountancy or engineering, so i'll apply for both. Accountancy at RMIT and engineering at NTU, I may or may nt get into these two choices, but it'll be God's will to decide which i'll go to.
I'll just have to pray for my application.
Dad mentioned tt he and mum have alr put aside money for me and my brother's education, everything is prepared already, so it is just up to us to study with the right attitude.
Dad also said tt shld I study RMIT accountancy, he and mom has alr discussed tt they may even send me to Australia to complete my last year over there.
I really hope i can go abroad to experience the life over there. But my results have to be good first.

So yupx, I should be grateful for having such wonderful parents who have already prepared for my education.

On Monday, PY last min called me at 4plus to work at MediaCorp, so i asked daph along as well. It's an easy job, just to guide the audiences in to the theatre for filming. We reached there near 6pm. Anyway, we did our job, guide them in to view the filming, den guide them out. So during the free time in between, we went in as audiences and chat with the uncle, that's our supervisor.

What a day

Today's a day that made me both happy and sad. Sounds contridicting eh. Anyway, read down, and u'll know.

2 things that i enjoyed today:
In the afternoon, i accompanied grandma to TTS for her doctor review and then i acc her back home. First time i've acc my grandma to the doctor :)
4th aunt brought me out for dinner at river valley road and she gave me advice on the courses that i shld take. The embience was great, food was nt bad too.

Things i hate today:
We quarelled, i suppose its the end alr. I said the wrong thing and it agitated him. He did not inform me abt it and i ps him. I'm sry for tt k.
Both of us are in the wrong. But we are too stubborn to admit. As usual.
He told me the truth and it just slammed right into my face.

ARGH.
Hate it.
A horrible day today, apart from those above.

IT show

Working at IT show for the past few days was great!
It's my 2nd job and it's the first time i'm doing sales.

Promoting the HP tablet PC to customers,
raising my voice to compete with the noise ard me so tt customers can hear me,
using the tablet to show the functions to the customers,
using the webcam to take pictures with my friends and quickly download them into my thumbdrive,
bring customers to the cashier,
chatting with the customers while queueing up at the cashier,
walking ard giving out the flyers to attract customers to our booth,
having meals at the back of our booth, sitting down on the floor stretching our legs out,
being CONFIDENT while promoting the product,
and most IMPORTANTLY,
even though I'm tired and we always have our meals late
I've ENJOYED myself and GAINED EXPERIENCE throughout the IT show.

Yesterday KaiQing and Brandon came to the IT show.
Yupx, chatted with them.
Haha. And both complained tt they have to squeeze SO many ppl, taking SO much time just to enter the exhibition hall.
Oh yes, when i was promoting half way, i suddenly saw a familiar face listening , and it was YiBing.
haha. So long didn't see him alr.
When i asked him y din he called me, and he said tt he din want to disturb me when i'm doing the promotion. hahas.
It's nice seeing my friends during work as I can rest while talking to them!

I'm blogging early in the morning as i'm not going to church today.
Got to work at IT show later.
Anyway this is not the main point.

DO DREAMS COME TRUE??

I dreamt of him last night.
I dreamt tt we're tgt, going for outings and meals and happily tgt.
And the whole dreams revolves ard him.
Why?
Why am i stil having such dreams when i know it isn't possible?
The dream went to an extend whereby in the dream, I told myself tt I'll tell D abt it.
Why?
Will this happen?

ARGH.
The feeling is so bad.
Knowing that you cant have it and yet it keeps coming back to your mind...

Today's Job is FUN!

Today's a long day, i reached home at only 11.15pm.
And i'm dead tired. On the way home, i even doze off a few times.

In the early morning, went to SIM to get some brochures. Daph came along with my mum and me as my mum drove us there.
We couldn't go in the afternoon as we had to work at the IT show.

Anyway when i came home, my mum told me tt she and dad actually went to SIM open hse in the afternoon to get more info on the courses that is suitable for me.
(My dad just returned back to s'pore in the morning and yet he still went to the open hse)
So touch lorx. haha.

My mum told me tt there's a course with an internship at Aust/ Swiz/ etc, I'm so so looking forward to that. But i need to score well in the course in order to get tt chance.
I also saw a course on tourism, where in the 2nd yr, there's chance to go to Swiz.
So tempted to do tt course lorx. hahas.

Thinking...
Somehow, its only through these things that I'm able to feel, and know that actually there are alot of people out there who cares alot about me.
Who are the people, only I myself will know.

Let's talk about today's job.
I closed 8 deals k, haha!
Promoting the products is MUCH MUCH better than standing outside the booth and give out flyers like a zombie.
Not because i earn more money, but, is when i promote the tablet PCs, acc the customers to the cashier, chatting with them, is a thousand times more interesting and less tired, than just standing there, getting customers into the booth.
Don't ask me why. It's just me.

Results

I got back my results.
Passed all, but i cant get into local uni, prob i'l get into SIM.
Anyway, it's over.
Realtives and friends started msging and calling in at noon, anxiously wanting to know how did i fare for my exams.
But after i collected my results i din reali have the mood to call or msg them back, plus my hp batt went flat in the evening. I even charged my hp before i went out, imagine the high usuage of my phone.
Anyway I want to THANK those who gave me encouragements when i got my results.
My friends, esp those who sent me long msges or stayed to cheer the grp of us up, like Jen, CK, Des, daph, YS, Sagina sis, 1st aunt 4th aunt, 4th uncle, 6th aunt, JiaHui, KQ, SP.
There were those who msged me, my family members, WM dage, QB, YW, SH, Kel, Jefre kor and alot more.

Actually I nd to go back to work at the IT show, but Jefre kor helped me and daph to take a day off to do what we want.
So daph and me went shopping like crazy, frm bugis to suntec, to release the unhappiness in us.
We bought quite a number of tops.
Haha.
I bought 3 tops, so for this wk, I bought a total of 5 tops.
Abt 150+ bucks 2 ripcurl, 1 hypnosis, 2 cotton on.
Got to save some money girl...

We had our dinner at Suntec, daph's dad sent me home.
After which i discussed the courses with my mum, and i more or less decided to take up a degree from foreign uni.
So tml my mum and I, wil be going early to SIM to check out the courses, and daph wil be joining us. Kel and PY will be there in the late afternoon, but i tink by the time they reach, i nd to go off to work. Anyway, gtg organise a day out for me, Kel and PY.
haha.

So sian, still need to work at IT show tml. It's super tiring, got to stand the whole day.
But i like the interaction with the customers, see the expression on their faces when i'm explaining the promotion and stuffs.
hahas.

NOTIFICATION OF RELEASE OF 2007 GCE A-LEVEL EXAMINATION RESULTS
1. The results of the 2007 Singapore-Cambridge GCE Advanced Level Examination will be released on Friday, 7 March 2008.
2. School candidates may obtain their result slips from their respective schools from 2.30 pm on 7 March 2008.
3. Private candidates will be able to obtain their results through the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board’s website (http://www.seab.gov.sg) after 2.30 pm on 7 March 2008. They will also be notified of their results by post.

I finally signed up for BTT

Just reached home today.

Before lunch, met up with Daph at Yio Chu Kang, to sign up for Basic theory test.

And we have to wait for SO long, 3 mths, before we can take our self study car test.

After that, I met up with Des at J8 for lunch at Cafe Cartel!

Anyway, he said that he bought the PSP is meant for me to play.

Dinner with Clive on Sunday night

Yesterday night, Clive asked me out for dinner after so long.
The last time i met him was after A-levels.
Anyway, I met him at Plaza Singapura in the evening.
We ate at Manhattan, the food was nt too bad, but the place was a little too noisy for chatting. We had to raise our voices in order to hear one another.
Hmm, we caught up with one another, he shared with me on his work in school as a relief teacher, and many more stuffs.
We shared a platter and the portion was more than enough for two people. Anyway, we finished 7/8 of the food. haha.
Clive paid for the dinner, 40 over bucks, even though i offered to pay him back.
haha.

Anyway after dinner, we went for a drink at cafe cartel, this time i paid for it.
If not its like so pai sei, if he treats me everytime.
hahas.
We took a walked in the mall, and when i wanted to go into a girl's shop, he din mind at all. haha.
He even said only when he's with a girl den he can have an excuse to go into a girls's shop.
Funny larx him.
Haha.
Anyway we took a bus from J8, stopped at my stop, then when i said gdbye to him, he said nvm he'll walk home. So he walked me home, den he walked back home.
So i reached home at ten.
haha.
Had a wonderful time catching up with one another!

Dinner with Grandpa and cousins at TungLok Signature

After I get my first official pay, me and cousin decided to treat my grandpa to dinner instead of giving him cash as my aunt say that he's loaded with cash, so no point giving him more, we must well bring him out for dinner.

haha.

So indeed, we brought him out to TungLok Signatures at The Central.

Both of us invited Ah Gong, my bro, 5 cousins. But my 2 guy cousins brought their gfs along. Initially we din include their 2 gfs in as they din inform us that they'll bring them along. But luckily the staff was kind enough to let us include them.

Cuz this was a dinner package that my aunt arranged as she work in the head office.

We spent a total of $440. Me and Cai split the bill.

After the dinner, Sagina sis and Alex kor sent Grandpa back home first, den the young ones hang out at Orchard Swensens for supper till11pm. Kor paid the bill $132.
