Anyway, had birthday celebration with KQ and PY at Marina Square's Yuki Yaki.

Since the girls hadn't been there before, so we decided to eat our dinner and have the celebration there.

The three of us became real Cooking Mamas.

HAHA.

We had fun cooking our dishes, vegetables with mushrooms, soups, bloated hot-dogs, salmons, chicken wings, and many more. BUT the main fun thing was that we got to cook our own Ice-Cream.

Initially we didn't know how to cook it and got the whole lump of chocolate frozen on the metal plate. We kept scrubbing and scrubbing the ice cream off till our hands got real tired. HAHA. So we decided to play cheat, we off the switch, wait for it to cool down and then the ice-cream was so much easier to cook. Hahas.

But in the end, we asked one of the servers to demonstrate to us how to cook the ice creams.

It seems easy looking at her doing it, but when we tried, we were like, so difficult can. Our tiring right hands. Hahas.

Anw, we had fun cooking today!

In the morning, went down to RELC building. My mum drove me there and Daph was alr there.

We submitted in our application form for UOL and paid the 52pounds.

I got regetted by the local uni alr so i'l stick to UOL.

Ltr in the aftn, will be meeting Diana for driving lessons, then at night, will be out with KQ and PY. So wil update more when i get back.

Celebrated Gabriel's and my birthday together. His b'dae is one day before mine.

After church, i had to go to FourLeaves to buy a birthday cake, as my parents and Gab's parents had AGM at church and cant buy the cheesecake at Hilton. Cuz norm we'll have the cheesecake as our b'dae cakes.

But, this cake is not bad too.

Haha.

Gab, me. 12 + 19 = 31

So we took 3 big, and one small candles. Haha. If nt the candles will flood the cake if we were to take 12 and 19 candles each.

SATURDAY 24MAY08

In the afternoon, went to Suntec City with Sharry sis and Cai to watch Indiana Jones.

Anw, the whole movie theatre was booked by the company tt Sharry sis worked in.

So the tickets were at a discounted rate at6 bucks, with free popcorn and drinks.

It's a great movie with solving of mysteries on their whole journey.

There's alot of nice movies these few wks.

Haha.
After tt we went shopping, I saw a pair of brown white strips ballet kind of flats by Vans.

I like it so much, but sadly, the only sizes left were 6,8,9. Grr. And my size is 6.5-7.

So sian can. I kept finding and finding the correct pair, but in the end, NO correct size.

Anw, at night, Cai went to her friend's bdae, so Sharry sis and me went for the Art Festival. Sharry sis met up with her fex-collegues at Boat Quay and we ate at Timbre.

We had pizzas, beers, seafood platter. I drank like more than 1 bottle of beer, but since the alcohol content wasn't even high, my face wasn't even red at all lorx. Haha. Sharry sis's colleague even teased me saying tt i can drink, and she tot tt i went clubbing frequently can. Zzz haha.

Any our plan was to watch the watch show, but then, we were at the opp side of the stage, and thus only manage to watch the performer's backs.

There was so many ppl, and i was struggling to stand on my toes, so in the end, i gave up and went back to Timbre. Chatted with Sharry sis's collegues, and watched the fireworks display as well.

After tt, i rushed off for the church seminar tt i need to attend. But i was abt 20 mins late.

Events

It's been a week since i've blogged.

Today at work, made a new friend today. This is his 5th time coming back to work during his holidays. As we were both assigned to work at lvl 5, (this is the 2nd time i've change place as the previous times, my table was those who were on long leave) we had our own tables. Like finally! Haha. During the whole morning and aftn till 4.30pm, we had nth to do, so we just chatted, read my paper over and over again to kill time, i played Sudoku, read comic book, read my FTT book.
So through him, knew a lil more abt the company. Introed each other during our conversation. He's in NUS yr2 BioEngine. Smart guy la, frm NJC somemore.

Anw i was so forgetful today lah, i forgotten to bring my hp to work -_-
Luckily i brought my reading stuffs and there's ppl to talk to.
If nt i'll be bored to death can haha.

Series of events occured last wk.
1. Last thur, went out with KQ and PY to celebrate PY's b'dae. Pictures will be updated once i get them from KQ.
2. Shopping on Sun with Cai and her mum. Bought clothes again. A total of 5 tops this wk.
3. On Mon morning, went for Music retreat at church.
4. Mon evening, went for dinner at Greenwood Ave, at Bukit Timah, at a restaurant called Sebastien's. The food was nice, in great portion, the dessert was delicious!
The dinner's to celebrate my mum's and my birthday.

Dinner with Daphy

Meet Daphy after work to go down to SIM to send in our application forms, as the deadline was 17May08.
Afterwhich, we went for dinner at Crystal Jade Kitchen at TP.
We ordered to big bowls of ShangHai La Mian, and two side dishes to share.
Hmm, it has been quite long since i last went out with her alone. So we both had lots to talk about. Driving, my TW trip, friends ard us mainly sec sch ones, updating each other, and stuffs.

It was great!
(too bad i din bring my camera out, and my hp batt was low and thus unable to take pictures)

Anw, let's talk about my work today.
Today work was much much better. I had more things to do to keep me occupied and from falling asleep. Haha.
I need to reach there at 8.30am, but my mentor only gave me things to do at 8.55am. Completed my stuffs at ard 4.30pm.
So during the time when i'm free, i had to practice my acting skills, where i had to act busy when i act had nth to do. I hate it lorx. Struggling to keep awake is alr hard, and yet i still nd to act busy, zzz.
Like what Jer said ah, quite true? "Pretending to do things is an impt skill in life", like what he does as well. Haha.
And when i had nth to do and i read my newspapers, my mentor told me nt to read the newspapers.
So now, it is: No using of the Internet, no reading of newspapers, so i suppose storybooks are nt allowed.
This is SUPER DUPER sian.
But again, luckily today was nt boring at all compared to ytd.
Had friends to msg the whole day to keep me acc when i'm bored.
Haha.
Oh ya, and the office is like FREEZING COLD. No wonder global warming isn't getting any better.
Plus it was raining heavily today.
Got to search my cupboard for some super thick jacket tml to keep myself warm.

First Day of work

Today was my first day of work at Ministry of Law.
Individual insolvency department.
Had so many paper work to be done.
Have to declare things like investments, blah blah, and have to agree tt we don't leak out any things there or will be charge under dunno which act or section.
I took like half an hr to complete the paper work lorx.
Haha.

My work was so boring.

For the whole morning, they just asked to me read a stack of notes.

And i did nth in the morning.

During that time, i was so looking forward to my lunch time at 1pm.

I asked the lady what to do, and she just ask me to wait.

So during my waiting time, i did the Sudoku in 10mins time, read finish my comic book, read my paper, and i DOZE OFF.

Zzz.

Too bored lah k.

My hp batt died halfway.

Luckily i had my paper and the comic book, or else i'll slp with my head on the desk.

Haha.

CM arrange her friends to meet me for lunch as she took leave today.

Anyway we bought our lunch at Maxwell market, then packet them to eat at the office.

Lunch ended at 2pm.

So went back to my desk.

At near 3plus, then they gave me something to do.

It was easy, data entry, completed within an hour.

After that, stoned again.

Then went home with CM's friends.

SIAN. That's how i spent my day. working? it's more like dozing off.

HAHAs.

I prefer working at Courts larx, at least it's more interesting, with the newspaper and magazines, data entry everyday. Haha.

But i did learn some theory stuffs today.

Oh man, i'm starting work officially tml, and i'm starting to dread badly now.
Grr.

These wk have been going out, catching as many $6 student movie deals as i can haha, taking up driving lessons, cuz my life will be boring once i start work.


SATURDAY 10May2008
Last Saturay, went to the new mall at Downtown East to catch IRONMAN! with my cousins and two aunts.
THE MOVIE WAS DAMN GOOD!
*many many thumbs up*
Haha.

But before we caught the movie, we went for dinner at some Korean Restaurant. Apparantly, we had to mix all the food tgt in the bowl, with the too little rice and too many vegetables and some red colour sauce, which is the bean paste. End up, it doesn't taste nice, so most of us didn't even manage to finish it up. I left like half of it. Haha. I don't really eat Korean food luh.

The mall was packed with ppl, as early as 5 plus in the evening, the carpark was full and the queue of cars was so long! Luckily i was at my aunt's place at 4pm, so i avoided the massive jam.
The new mall had lots of entertainment, something like the Kallang leisure park.

There's a mini Ferris Wheel at the front of the mall, took some pictures. The night view of the mall, with those lightings, was great.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY MOM! and HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Church in the morning. Afternoon at grandpa's place. At abt 3.30pm, went back hm and my cousins Aloy, Aaron, Audrey came to our hse to play. Aloy came as he want to train for his Nafa test, so Yang jogged with him at Bishan Park and did some exercise with him. I brought Aaron and Audrey to the playground. After tt, all of us played badminton at the badminton court downstairs. Audrey was too young to play, so she just ran around and being a lil girl, she kept asking me questions on and on till it was my turn to play. Haha. Cute lil girl.

At ard 6plus, their parents picked them home. At night, went to grandpa's place as my grandpa and his brother was back from TW in the evening. So mum, dad and me went down. Yang stayed at home to do his hw.

MONDAY 12MAY2008

In the morning and afternoon, went for driving lessons. Diana took 2 lessons a day as well to acc me. Haha. By the time we finish our 2nd lesson, our legs were feeling tired can, as it's our first time having 2 lessons in a row. But it's nt too bad larx, save up the transport cost. Hahas.

My 100th post!

In the morning at ten, went to Mt. Elizabeth for my 6mths dental review.

The dentist said my teeth is still alright, but i told him if i forgot to wear my retainers at night, my bottom teeth will shift. Then he said tt i'll need to come back after 6mths, and if my teeth still shift, he'll put metal wire behind my teeth.

Anyway it was near 11am when i finish my app. As i didn't want to go hm, called Cai out to accompany me. Haha.

While waiting for her, went to Seiko and had my watch strips replaced.

We went for lunch at Pastamania at Cineleisure. Saw this colourful graffiti drawings. Nice rite. We were there so early tt the shops were still not open yet. Haha. Adidas.

Then headed for movie 'What Happens in VEGAS'.This movie is great!

Ashton looks so handsome in the suit. Cameron Diaz's preetty. Haha.

After that, went to Bugis. I appeared in front of Jenny at TCC and she was shocked to see me, hahas. Passed her stuff and then went off to shop with Cai. Started feeling hungry as the plate of pasta wasn't enough. So we went to basement and Mac, bought some food and bubble tea and sat near the fountain area, looking at ppl, commenting, and stuffs, like what girls norm do when we come tgt. Hahas.

Then we went to the ID photo machine and took a picture, hmm, it came out nt too bad lah haha.

We went to Orchard.

Had our lunch at Far East, then went shopping.

I bought 2 dresses, and KQ bought a top.

Bought PY a top for her birthday gift.

Hmm I can only do budget shopping now.

Cuz i'm going broke soon. HAHA.

After which we head down to Wisma's Food Republic for dinner.

Then we walked from Wisma to PS as KQ want to go Cotton on.

And guess who we spotted there?

We didn't approch her but i secretly took a pic of her. Haha.

Tai Wan

I'm back from Tai Wan!


I took like, say ages to finish this post. Tons and tons of pictures to upload.
Hmm the trip was fun, I got to know my TW relatives better.
Took a domestic plane to 金门, my grandpa's hometown. Stayed there for abt 2 days plus.

Did very lil shopping in Tai Pei, but it wasn't enough. As I only shopped during the first day night at 士林, 2nd day afternoon at 五份谱 (dunno if the char is correct) and Sun afternoon at 西门町. For the first night i din bought anything as the clothes there doesn't suit my taste. The range of clothes were limited to 'ah lian' style, like hot pink with zebra kind of stockings, lousy material etc etc. I forgot to bring along my camera that night, or else i can take some photos of the clothes there.

Anyway, here are the photos i've taken during the trip. I've taken like more than 350 pictures. Haha. But don't worry, i'm not gonna upload all. Hahas.

On the way to the domestic airport, saw TaiPei 101.

At the airport.Look at my name. Zzz. Since when i've became a male. -_-Waiting for the plane.In the plane.Touch down at Jin Men Airport.The plane we took.Eh, wrong phrasing?Name of my grandpa's hometown.Me and my grandpa's 2nd younger sis, who was a professor during her teaching career in TW. Now she's staying in Canada.Opening the door of my grandpa's late parents home. One of the nicest buildings.

Saw some mini plantation on the way, when my grandpa and his bro walked ard their hometown to find their childhood friends.

Peanuts.Guavas.Lettuce. My eldest aunt, me.Grandpa and his 3rd brother spotted their old friends at a temple. See how delighted they are when they saw their friends.Me, my grandpa's 1st younger sis, grandpa's 2nd younger sis, my eldest aunt.Discussing which are my grandpa's land that he's inherited.

SATURDAY 3MAY2008

金门

Walked around the area with my grandpa, my grandpa's bro and my aunt.

My grandpa was like telling me and my aunt which are the land that is left to him, by his late parents.

Spotted a modified car in the eldery town.

One of the nicest buildings I've seen there.Market place.The very sweet apricot.

Their big furry dog.The house that we stayed in. My grandpa's youngest bro's house.The eggs are hatched in a machine. Spot one egg with a lil hole? The chicks are inside.My grandpa's youngest bro's deers. Initially he had 60 over of them, but then, some of them was infected with disease and had to be slaughted, so he left with 10plus of them. So the govt refunded them money for the loss of deers.

The was the first time i ate this. It's yam coated with mai ya tang. When they serve this, we have to immediately take out one by one and dip it into cold water to prevent it from sticking. This dessert is delicious!Looking at the map of Jin Men.We look like construction workers? Haha. Those who wear white helmet at construction site means executive, managers. HAHA. Yellow for workers.

We went to the park, which is so much bigger than Singapore's parks. The park's a nice place. Look at the pictures and u'll know. Haha. Tennis court in the park. I bet it'll be good to play tennis there, with the fresh air, nice environment, cooling weather. Haha.

We climbed to the top, and saw the beautiful sunset.The leaves look like heart-shape, don't they?The old telephone booth, with the chi characters Jin Men.Back at home for dinner. This was the first time i ate so much oyster! haha. The oyster taste so so much better than those in Singapore.

In the afternoon.

Had lunch at a mongolian bbq restaurant before heading off to shopping.

西门町The restaurant where the utensils are modify like what u can find in a toilet. So disgusting, i wonder how can the ppl eat when they think of the stinky toilet.Look at their variety of sunglasses, esp the ones at the 2nd column bottom ones. Hmm looks weird.

We went for desserts. That place was so cool, with drawings, signatures, on the wall, the whole place seems like xi jie shao nian kind. Haha. Many youngsters went there for desserts and almost the whole place underground was packed.
