Everyone is going overseas

Just back from the airport half an hour ago to send off Zhi Qing to China-Bei Jing.

She'll be going there for 2 yrs to practice TCM over there.
Hope she'l have fun studying there!

This coming wed, YL wil be going to Japan for her school exchange programme for 2 wks.
Nxt wk, LingZhi will be going to Europe for 2 months.
The following wk, XinYing wil be going to Japan, Toyko to continue her studies there. And she just came back from Aust nt long ago. So fun, travelling around, getting to see more of the world. Haha.



Before heading to the airport, met up with LY in the eveing to get a gift for ZQ.
It was kind of a last min decision made during Sunday school clz to send ZQ off.
As i didn't expect her to be flying off so soon.

Packed Day

Today i had a day full of activities, since the moment i stepped out of hse at 7.30am.
And I just reach home half an hour ago.
Dead tired.

In the morning, woke up early as i had an 8.30am lesson waiting for me.

After my POA lesson, met up with Clive for lunch at Changing Appetites.

The portion was like super huge.

See what i ordered, their famous honey ribs- this was what the waiter suggested.

So when it came, i was like, oh my, that is way too much for me to finish.

And truely, i wasnt even able to finish 3/4 of it.

It wasnt that nice anyway.

All their food were mostly in quite big portions.

So i suggest that, that place is for big eaters.

The price is about 20 plus bucks for a person, depending on the food ordered.

This was what i ordered.

I was super full by the time i finish my sea food clowder soup, main course, a free flow iced-tea and a dessert.After which, (at abt 4 plus) i went to my mum's company event that her boss was holding at Singapore Recreation Club.

And i played bowling over there with her colleagues.

Since my mum was the main organiser, and her acc girl was the assi organiser, they didn't had the chance to play bowling.

They had cash prizes (the first was 500 if i'm nt wrong) to give away for the top three winners in bowling.

Anw, i left after spending one and a half hours there, to meet my cousin and her collegues for movies under the stars at fort canning park.

We went to Carrefour to get some picnic stuffs, like red wine, cheese, nuts, sandwiches, hotdogs, etc.

And we bought too much food such that we were struggling to finish them and yet we're stil unable to.

Haha.

The movies only started at 8pm.

1.5 hours for each movie, with a half an hour break in btn.

Anw we watched 2 movies that will be screened at the threatres soon.

One was 'Make it Happen', which was a dance movie, and was kind of disappointing.

As i was expecting the story line to be as interesting as Step Up, but it was a far cry from it.

So my rating for the movie is 2/5. Nt a must watch kind of movie.

The second one was the american version of My Sassy Girl. (I've forgotten the title)

It was totally the same.

The main character is one pretty lady.

But even so, i still prefer the Korean version.

Haha.

Anw by the time everything ended, i was dead tired.

It was alr twelve when i boarded the bus, and it was such a long bus ride (1hr).

So by the time i reached home, it was super late.

And mum was waiting for me when i reached home.

Only when i reached home, then i saw her sms "check if there is anyone following you".

I was like ... why would anyone follow me?

Haha.

Mum showed me her long service award gift, a Longine watch.

So beautiful and class can.

Haha.

I won't mind if mum is willing to share her watch with me.

Hahaha.

Any, things at home regarding the maid is solved now (i hope).
Grandma and me chatted.

She told me she didn't realise the dent on the wood as old ppl's eyes are tt sharp compared to ours, and she also didn't know the cost of the furnitures as well.
Thus she took a clearer look in the morning when i was away at school, and she realised how bad the damages were.
So yup, she thought of a way to solve the problem.
She told the maid that from today onwards, she'll be mopping the floor or wadever using her hands and not the stick.

In the aftn, went to town to get present for YW, and she just msg me tt liked it!

When i were to go out with you, other than exercising, u MUST use it okie.
Haha.

Anw I ate two dinners within 3 hours today.
One was at home, and the other was at Pizza Hut.
Haha.
My second dinner was eaten with my primary school girlfriends.
Yup. The five of us, missing C as she was busy.
Anw, we had lots of catching up with one another, gossiping abt *** (we 5 all know who, haha), talking about our past-present relationships: the reason for breakups, sweetest stuffs and the worst things our ex/current bfs did for us, etc.
And i can tell you, we talk non-stop, yes its NON-STOP since the moment we saw one another at Bishan Mrt Station, and even while we were eating.

Movies in the Park

Finally received my tickets from GV.
Watching movies at Fort Canning Park.
Just hope that it doesn't rain that day.

Been studying at Bishan CC with Daph for the past two days, or rather morning-afternoon instead of days. Haha.

Need to have the practiveof studying now.

Anyway, i save alot from shopping when i'm at CC studying. Haha.

So studying is a good way of not spending.

:)

But then on thus i'll be going out for dinner with my pri school friends.

Sat aftn with Clive, since he asked, and cuz i've turned him down previously for so many times, so if i don't go again i'l feel abit bad ah.

And Sat night will be at fort canning!

So my money saved for this week = none AGAIN.

Maid makes me mad

Warning: This post contains awful words inside.

I am pissed off with my maid!!

Not that i'm unreasonable or what.

But just look at these pictures first, before i'll continue on.

It's totally irritating. Sweeping and mopping the floor in the morning, banging the stick here and there, waking me up early in the morning at 7plus 8am.

Even after we told her more than three times, my dad has told her once (in a strict tone) and i've told her thrice, that when she mop or sweeps the foor she should not keep banging the stick at the wood, because pure teak wood aren't tt hard as those with mixed wood. But being deaf or unable to understand, which i don't think so because she can jolly well sing as and when she like at home-and i hate when she does tt, and she can speaks english- so i suppose her intellectual is still passable.

Damn idoit can. And for heaven's sake, the wood is teak wood! My parents bought the teak wood furnitures for more than 10k and how dare she spoil them. If the maid can pay us back for the damage she has done, she can bang and hit all she want. But too bad, she cant.

SO to keep track of the damages she has done, i have to waste my precious time to use my digi cam (i wanted to use D80 but i dunno why i cant capture when i press down the button? Is it because of the focus or wad?), to take the pictures of all the sofas, coffee tables, wardrobe, telephone table, etc, INFRONT of her and my grandma. PURPOSELY.

I DON'T GIVE A DAMN ANYWAY.

And ytd night, she washed the dishes for like a freaking long of 45 mins with the water running NON-STOP. So after i finish reading the newspaper, she was still washing, so i stood behind her and watched her washed. I'll tell u how she wash the dished.

*Watertap still on* After applying soap to the plates (only plates where left unwashed when i stood there), one by one, she wash one plate slowly (as if it'll hurt the plate if more strength is used to use it quickly), and put it in the place where cutleries are left to dry, while the water is still running. And when taking her own sweet time to put the washed plate aside, the water is still flowing. So i was wondering, what the hell is wrong with her limbs? Cant she use one hand to put the washed plate aside and the other hand is alr holding the unwashed dish near the tap? Does she need two hands to lift up the freaking 'heavy' plate?

I'm so going to put a paper in the kitchen to note down the time she takes for washing.

Since grandma and the maid stayed with us, the electricity and water bill reached the national lvl (in the past we don't even use tt much), and the gas usage doubled the national level. Can u imagine how much is wasted?

Firstly, when they (both my grandma and the maid) on the gas to lit it, they push the button all the way to the maximum, and then lit it. For you info, pro ppl don't turn all the way to the maximum before being able to lit the fire. I've told them twice in a nice manner, but they dun even take my words seriously. So fine, i dun bother much, since my grandma plays a big part in teaching the maid how to cook and stuffs.

Nxt, ytd night when they were cooking fishcakes, they use RED flame, and put the fishcake in the sea of oil. So obviously, the whole house was filled with the damn smell. And when my mum told my grandma tt cooking fishcake doesn't nd such huge fire, as she can steam the fishcake, so tt i'tll get cooked, before frying it. And u know what my grandma said? She said that if we don't use big fire, the fishcake won't get cooked. Damn irritating. Still dare to retort back when we are using science to explain the matter.

I seriously think that my grandma is in cahoots with the maid. My brother has the same feeling as well.

ARGH. Damn it.

Seriously, I can survive WELL with no maid. (My brother was so against having a maid initially.)

That was how my life was until this year April.

In the past, my parents, brother and I will each split up the household chores. And mind you, since we bought the pure teak wood furniture there were no damn marks or woods that were chipped off for that 2-3 years when i swept the floor, and my brother mopped the floor. Until the maid arrived.

And when we wash the dishes, my dad or my mum or my brother or me, will wash faster than the maid given the same or more things to wash. With the basin clean with no water at the side.

That's how well we do things. Because that is our home.

She is so gonna get it from me if she continues to do the household chores in this slutty manner. I will make things difficult for her. Esp when dad and mum goes to Melbourne for holiday. I'll be the one in charge, i don't care. And if grandma is going to side her, be sure that i'm going to retort back. Is not tt i'm rude, but some things when are done wrongly, you can't expect them to continuing doing it, wasting hard-money down the drain.

Let's wait and see how things go. Because things are way getting out of hand this week.

Bishan Active

Just came home an hour ago after going to Bishan Active with YW.
There's a bball court, vball court (with sand!), some mini playground for kids, and the usual exercise equipments.
We spent half of the time playing with the equipments, playing the playground, and the other half of the time chatting.
Haha.

We shall meet and exercise at lest once a wk okie! Haha :))

Everything was alright just tt it's kind of expensive.

Paid 85 bucks for the 3 hrs in the boat, where we each took turns to wakeboard.

And we took taxi in and out as it was at Punggol Marina, some ulu place tt is so far from my house.

I finally received UOL's study guide book for the subjects that i'm taking this year.

And it was sent to my home when i came back from lesson in the aftn.

Yes, it's an extremely urgent material enclosed inside. Cuz study guides are the most impt, most basic thing to start with, when u want to start studying.

Just reached home after sending dad off to the airport.
We had a full dinner at Swensens before heading to the airport.
Yup dad's off to Melbourne.
Suddenly i'm missing the whole family kind of thing now.
Watching olympics, discussing which country is better, eating meals tgt, and we just had our favourite beef noodles for lunch. Haha.
I'm starting to appreciate my family even more (nt tt i din appreciate them last time), and it's good being not-so-naughty as compared to the secondary school me (which i could say, was quite horrendous).

Anw we picked up my bro from his friend's hse at Pasir Ris before dinner.
So coincidentally, on the way there, i happen to see some old friends.
And and... just minutes before i saw them, i was thinking about this incident, and i deleted his hp no when i decided tt i wouldn't nd it anymore.

The not-so-really-an-incident: When she told me abt it, i felt kind of .... (indescribable mixture of feelings), tt he didn't mention tt to me during this most recent one tt just past. He only told me the general line. But i myself din ask him much abt it as well.
That was in the past.
So yar.

What is wrong with me.
Argh.
I tot it wun even matter to me the slighest bit at all.
Irritating.
Immediately when i deleted it, he appeared.

Sakae Lunch Buffet

Mum just confirmed her flight...
My mum and dad are going overseas on their own without bringing us :(
Hrmf..
They are going to Melbourne.
Cuz my dad wil be working there for 3 wks, and after whcih my mum wil be joining my dad for a week.
Somemore my dad booked a business class flight for my mum.
So envious can.
I also want!!
But i cant go cuz of my stupid timetable, with no long holidays this year end. So end up our family won't be going overseas this year :((
Sad lar.
And it's like my bro's holidays and my holidays totally crash nxt year AGAIN.
Grr.

Anyway after PBF lesson today, went to Sakae Sushi with Diana and Daph for a belated birthday celebration for Diana.

We ate the 60mins lunch buffet.
And we ate super alot can.


30 plates, 3 red plates, 3 bowls of udon, all within less than one hour, minus the waiting time for the food.
Imagine how much and how fast we had to gobble down the food.
So by the time we walked out, my tummy was super bloated. Haha.

Dinner date with girlfriend!

We chatted, caught up with each other.
And when i took photos of the food, i reminded myself to take pictures of us tgt. But in the end, i think i got so engrossed in chatting with her non-stop tt it slipped off my mind -_-

Oh ya, and i finally booked a tp-traffic police driving test on 9th Sep late aftn, after staying by my laptop for the past 5days.
It's at 3.45pm test.
Actually i'm afraid that the vehicle flow wil be quite heavy compared to late morning (as i normally have my driving lessons in the morning).
And my lane changing isn't tt good.
My checking of blindspots, awareness, are some of my weaknesses as well.
So yup, do pray for me :)

Non- stop Shopping

I've been shopping too much for the past one month or so.
Hmm so adding to my wardrobe would be...

1 bag
and finally,
my long awaited Adidas jacket!

But all using my own money. Boo! :(
My parents do not know that i've been spending that much lately, or else they'll sure to cut my allowance. And they don't like me spending money so unneccesarily.

I'm catching Olympics everyday with my parents. Switching from channel 601-606, hoping to watch every event tt we're interested in. Haha.

So far, we've watched
Gymnastic: men and women's team, all-round individual, trampolin. (we're still watching the individual event)
Diving: (women) and syncronised diving.
Atheletics: 100m (men), 200m (men), 40km(women), and alot more to name.
Table tennis. We din really watching the whole match as i felt it was kind of boring, so we switched to diving on cable tv, which interest us more.

Hmm, more will be added on to the list!
Haha.
It's wonderful to have cable tv at hm.

Anw I've just cancelled my tp test this coming tue because i cant seems to book any revision test.

Anw i nd to return my 1-day overdued books, as well as pay the library fines.


So yup, even tho i only went for like 2hrs plus, at least i've completed reading 2-3 chpts of the accounting bk tt my mum borrowed frm her colleague (As she just completed her Acca last yr and do not nd the book at this point of time).


Then i headed back home for lunch.


When i was reading through the newspaper today, i saw tt Pizza Hut had some promotion, Hawaian pan pizza for only $4.30, for home delivery!! And its only from 8-10 Aug, 2-5pm.
I'm so gonna order only tt later.
Haha.



At night, i will be going for the High School Musical Ice Tour at Expo!

Ahh, two big gluttons!

Finally completed my 33 driving lessons. So now i've got to wait for a tp date.
I've just checked the dates, and i've to wait till 28Oct. Which is like super long lar!! Plus my pdl expires on 21Oct. So i have to renew it can. Sian.

Anw Daph accompanied for dinner since there's no dinner for me at home, and i didn't want to cook my own dinner.

Yup, so we went Chomp Chomp for dinner.

We ordered like so many dishes can.

Sugercane.
And it's only 2 of us.

The table beside us sat 4 ppl, and they only ordered like 1 dish more than us can.

5 AUGUST 08 (TUESDAY)

Watch Dark Knights twice today. In the aftn, i watch with Sharry sis. And i felt tt the movie was superb! But after watching the same movie twice, at night with my mum and bro, I fell alseep in the middle of it. Haha. My mum din know i watched it the 2nd time, so she was like "Why are you falling asleep?" Haha.

My first professional pictures

In the evening, YK picked me up and then we headed to One Raffles Quay to take some pictures of the NE show. Fighter planes, scenaries, fireworks, etc. It was my first time taking my parent's big, heavy Nikon D80 out to take pictures can. Haha. But it was quite fun snapping pictures like non-stop (: And luckily YK brought another tripod stand for me, and helped me set the so-complicated settings, if nt i wun be able to take these pictures.

Oh ya, and i din know that the degree of brightness of flash light can even be set lar. Haha. Hmm, seems i've so much more to learn and find out, in order to fully utilise the camera.

Anw the area tt we went is just a small field, but there were quite a no of people taking pictures over there. Overall, the place is a great place to take pictures, esp the fireworks.

And the two of them were like saying that in the past, the route was a place where bikers race. But then as there were quite some sharp bands there, alot of accidents took place at the tree right before sharpest bend. So now, there's no more racing takes place over there.

Scary...

And throughout the journey, i kept looking for the sharpest bend, and then i saw the tree, with markings on the tree, a red 'cross' inside a red 'circle'.

A lil spooky tho.

Anw, right before the exit to highway, we changed back seats and then they sent me home.

I started my first day of school today.
Principles of Accounting.
Wasn't really able to understand much tho.
I find it kind of confusing, so i had to just copy down all the notes.

Anw after school, mum came to pick me up.
Then went to NUH to visit one of my distant relative, tgt with my 3 aunts.
Afterwhich, we went to the Indonesian Restaurant at Clark Quay for lunch.
My cousin's aunt asked me to help her with smth, and i'll try my very best to help her.

Literally, it's Sports Day

In the morning, met up with YK SK to play table tennis at Bishan Stadium.
And seriously i think throughout my life, this was like the first time i really played can.
Even thought my dad bought me and my bro each a racket while we were in pri school, and i dun think we used it before.

So while waiting for Diana, me and Daph went shopping.
Actually we din expect to buy anything as we were heading to Sentosa ltr.

just within an hr in Zara,
I bought a top, a bag, and two belts.

Daph bought a top and a belt.
Luckily Daph stopped me from further shopping, if nt i think i'll shop like non-stop.

Then after meeting Diana, we set off to Sentosa!
It was the first time Diana went out with us can.
Haha.
