So we split into 3 cabs and headed back to Fukie's hse.

By the time we settled down and washed up, it was alr 6plus in the morning.

Some of them had breakfast, then went back to slp again.

Then D woke up and took some pictures of us sleeping.

Fukie's rm was soo cold.

So some of them went out to slp instead.

Badminton

In the afternoon, went for badminton with SIM ODAC at YCK sports hall.
It's been a yr or so since i've last touched my badminton racket.
But i think i played alright bah.

Sunday School Class Lunch

After 主日学日, we had Sunday School Class lunch together.
Finally we had one after so long.
Haha.

Missing: ZH (who went to Malaysia), HM(who had lunch tgt but left early), MF(went back to Malaysia), PH(had to go cuz he dad was alr waiting downstairs). And for the rest who are not listed here, i'm not sure of the reasons.

During the lunch, we kept pestering the tchers to tell us our class nxt year.

And they finally gave in to us.

But sadly, most in the 1988s will be leaving us, and few of the 1990s will be joining us next yr.

So the 1989s will remain in the same clz.

So it'll be my fourth yr in this class.

After lunch, went to my grandpa's place.

Updated my cousin on the day i went clubbing.

Clubbing

Yup i had my first official clubbing experience with my lovely 19th Odac.
(:
My parents do not know abt it.
If not they'll sure ban me from going out ever again.
Anw, it's an eye opening experience for me.
I can say tt i've seen through, and been through how clubbing is like.
So i'm not a mountain tortise anymore.
Haha.
And most importantly, going with the correct bunch of friends is crucial.
Yup.
To the guys, thanks for protecting us girls!
Esp to RP who was behind us, and YH and Fukie too.
:))
Cuz it's not easy to be dancing to the music, and looking out for other guys, and at the same time looking out for out safety.
Haha.
We clubbed for nearly 5 hrs.
After Phuture ended at ard 4.10am, we headed over to Zouk.
Then we stayed for another 15 mins or so, used finished our complementary drink tickets before heading back to Fukie's hse for stayover.
12 of us squeezed into Fukie's room.
And we slept till ard 11am the nxt day.
Lunch was at T3's Popeye.
Shopped for groceries for our steamboat dinner, before heading back for food preparation.
16 of us had dinner tgt, and then we had Christmas gifts exchange.

It's only ytd, then i realised tt it's still there.
I thought it's been long gone.

I nd time for it to fade. Comparatively, this recent one isn't as strong as tt above, so probably it's just isnt possible :(

Pyjamas Christmas Party!

Just a quick update before taking my beauty sleep (:

Had a christmas theme party- pyjamas, yesterday night with the fellow SIM odacians.
It was crazy, with those snow sprays, nv ending food and games, wacky pyjamas and softtoys, christmas gift exchange.
And most importantly, the company was great!

Slightly after noon, we reached Downtown East, and then we checked in.

While waiting for L to settle the room keys and stuffs, we started snapping away.At the room, we gave JJ her special gift.

We started decorating the room.

Blowing up balloons, folding stars, putting up banners, arranging the beds, etc. Did our stuffs halfway because we had to get scotchtaps, and we headed out for lunch as well.Luckily the escalator was long enough, haha.Brought my cousin out for lunch tgt with them, and then we went back to finish up the decorations.

We did some christmas manicure too!

Haha.Played twister after tt.At ard 5 plus, brought my cousin back to his hm, which is just beside Aloha Loyang.

I rested, showered, watch some tv programmes, before heading down to the party. Kana forced to take this picture -.- i am not advertising for bread.Had our dinner, pot-luck style.

And for the leftovers, as usual, we played Indian poker to finish up the food.

Luckily this time i had A to help me finsh up my food.

Haha.
When it was about time, we changed into our pj.
Girls changed in the room, while the guys had to wait outside.

This was the pj tt i bought from WT.

I think i look like some hospital kid.

Haha.

Then it was the guys turn to change.

Since we had nth to do, we decided to take pictures.

Anw, the air from the can was rather suffocating and choking.

So yup, it'll be better to play with all those spray cans and stuffs in an open area.

The snow foam still stuck on our hair.

And it's so sticky lor.

We waited for 12 midnight to strike, with the party popper and snow sprays in our hands.

All ready to countdown.

And then 5-4-3-2-1,

everyone shouted MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Then the craze started.

All of us were running about, trying to dodge from getting sprayed.

We ran down the stairs, in our pyjamas and sprays.

Ppl in other chalets were pratically staring at us.

But we din cared.

We continued, messing up the whole place, shouting around.

Then E took out a bottle of champagne, and started spraying at all of us.

The girls screamed and ran away.

Haha.

And the rest emptied their snow sprays at one another.

Then after the sprays, party poppers were used up, we went back into the room.

All sticky sweaty and high.
D was the cleanest as she came during the last 5 mins of the hectic spraying party.

Haha. I bought for YA.At ard 2am, i walked back to my aunt's place for a quick nap and shower.

D also came over to my aunt's hse to stay.

Then by the time i finishing washing up, blowing my hair dry, it was alr 3plus in the morning.

So the both of us decided to wake up at 0430.

But when the alarm rang, we snooze it off.

Rang at 0445, snooze, 0500 snooze, 0515 snooze, 0530 we finally got our butts up.

The bed and air-con was soo comfortable.
Haha.
Then we both packed our stuffs, washed up, and walked back at 6am, tgt with R and D.

When we got back to the chalet, the others were still drinking.

I didn't drink at all cuz i feel tt it's ain't healthy to drink so early in the morning with an empty stomach.

So we just sat aside and chat with the others.

A few of us took a walk by the beach as well.

Did quite a no of jumpshots.

For the last auto ten shots, everyone was jumping up and down trying to get captured.

But, me being lazy, i just stood there.

Yup so that's about it, for my 1st official Christmas Party.

Finally got myself a new pair of sports shoe.

Went to the optician today, and i think i'm gonna be one of the three blind mice soon.
Optician: Your degree increased by quite a fair bit, when for the past few years it has stabilised.
Me: Oh okie.
Optician: So try not to lie on the bad while reading your books, cut down on yr computer usage, read and study with sufficient lights, take a short break after studying for few hours.
So when i told mum about it.
Mum: Use more computer, and continue playing yr DS (sacarstic tone).
Me: Up to you to say. Zzz.

When i was driving home on the expressway.
Dad was sitting beside me, and mum and brother were sitting behind.
Mum saying to dad: Why are you looking at the side when you should be looking infront?
Dad: She's the one driving wad, not me.
ZZZ.
Just look at their drastic confidence level in my driving skills.
Oh wells.
Mum has always been like this, nagging at me when i'm driving, raising her voice at me when she deems tt i'm driving not-so-safely, while dad is always so calm and cool.
Hey 10 points is not tt bad okie.
Haha.

There was plenty of food left during Bbq even though we ate alot.
Prawns with butter and garlic, barbequed, were delicious.
Chicken wings were well marinated.
Drinks, mee, salad, everything was well prepared.

HOMED.

Oh yes, i finally got the guts to tell my mum about my plans nxt wk.
She didn't say NO when i told her about my plans, so i assume she'll allow.
Heh.
Chalet during christmas eve + stay over at my aunt's hse.
Camp.
I feel more at peace now.
At least i told her about my plans alr.
So, i'm looking forward to it.
Hope it'll be fun!

Ahh rp, less than 2 more days, faster go and enjoy yrself haha.

And i'm going to cut down on my computer usage.
Because i think it constitutes the most to the increase in the degree of my eyes.

Shopping for Christmas Gifts

Just back from my tennis lesson!
It's been months since i last went for my lesson, because of my saturday morning lesson.
But since tml i do not have any lesson, i went for tennis.
:)
Ahh and i played quite lousy, my skills were rusty, because i hadn't touched my racket since aug this yr.
Boo.

Anw, had lesson in the morning, and then we went out the whole afternoon to get 3 christmas gifts for my 'choosen friends' and some party stuffs for the christmas party.
And so, all the money in my wallet are all used up.
We shopped like some aunties lor.
But we're decisive okie.
Haha.

But anw, hope tt the ppl will like what i've gotten for them!

Swollen eyes

Argh i woke up with a swollen left eye today.
Eyebag is super swelled up.
And my eye kps tearing.
Had no choice but to skip my pbf lesson today.
And i was just telling L nt to skip lesson ytd opps haha...

Ip Man

Just back ten mins ago from J8!
Went to catch Ip Man with mum and brother.
This movie is really great.
It depicts the loyalty of a man to his country, his dignity, the way he treasure his friendship, etc.
The kungfu effects are so real, better than those previous kungfu movies.
After watching, it makes me feel like learning it.
Haha!

A better day today

Churched.
Left early during 2nd session.
Rushed from queenstown to sp to collect plastic bags from P. (thks YL for the directions!)
Then from dover, went to clementi for our 'Fling and Throw' stn.
Met R, bought kfc for lunch, and headed to the stn, where D and HS were there alr.
Not long after, the 3rd grp came. (2 came in the morn).
Finished and went off.
Then my mum called, saying tt the car key was still in my bag.
Because in the morning, i drove the car to church and i didn't return mum the car key.
So i had no choice, but to rush back all the way to queenstown and passed my mum the car key.
Within half an hr, i was back.
Luckily during the time, no teams came.
So we had our lunch, started playing cards, ds, psp. (as usual)
Another 3 teams came along shortly after.
Anw i think that the game was not too bad!
It was tweaked a lil.
Each team has to use a towel and fling the water bag above a high wall, and the other members had to use a towel to catch it.
So there be 2 members on each side, and one giving instructions.
And each team has a total of 5 water bags only, 10 mins to practice and do the actual game.
Haha.
The stn today was so so much better than the one i had ytd.
At least there were no insects bothering me, and there were more teams dropping by as the stn was not out of the way.
At ard 4.15pm, the four of us started playing the water bombs, haha.
And it wasn't really very dificult, just tt the coordination btn the players are impt in throwing the water bombs above the wall.

Lesson in the morning.

By then it was alr 1pm.

Saw WT alone there.

HS left for another stn.

Stuffs were alr prepared in the morning by WT and HS.

WT said tt only 2 grps came in the morning.

Anw, it rained heavily for a moment.

We played cards.
Chatted.

Ate crackers, xi de guo dong.

Then a mentally unsound old man kept talking to us, asking us questions, walking ard us.

But we just ignored him.

Continued playing our cards.

Time past rather slow.

Ants were crawling all over.

Mosquitoes flying all over.

Getting irritated with the ichy-ness.

We were hungry.

Only had lunch at 2.30pm.

Ate chicken rice.

Waited.

No one.

Played DS and PSP.

Mine, and WT's.

Waited.

Walked such a long distance to the toilet.

Came back.

Ants all over the place.

Sprayed insect repellent ard the places we sat.

Continued playing.

No one.

Waited.

Bites and more bites.

Immune to ants crawling on our skin.

Stratched.

Ignored.

And continued playing our DS/PSP till 5.40pm.

Waited again.

No one.

And it was past 5.30pm alr.

Packed up slowly.

And then five mins before 6pm, i left for home.

2 grps only.

How pathetic.

I concluded tt the place was too 'out of nowhere' in the planning route.

Heh.

Walked hm since it's 5 mins away only.

Then phone call came.

Bad news.

I tot he was joking with me initially.

But then it was real.

By the time it was too late.

Zzz.

Showered and went out.

Ltr at night.

D and Me wanted to go, but since they said it wasn't necessary, we didn't went.

Too lazy to explain what happened.

Got nth much more to say.

Oh wells.
Been sleeping at unearthly hours these few weeks.
Anw i just reach hm an hour ago from a Xtreme Odac chalet/birthday chalet.
Too tired to elaborate as i nd to slp now.
As i have lessons tml at 8.30am.

Had a short night walk at the beach today, and it only made me think of the ones we had in the past...

In the aftn, went to Marina Barrage with my bro and cousin.
It's a nicely built place.

Cool breeze that blows your hair all over your face.
And lastly, pictures to be kept for memories.

I regretted not bringing mine today.
As i was too lazy to carry it out with me today.
Yup.
Anyway, had Sakae Buffet for dinner.
Gobbled as much food as possible.
And up till now, i'm still feeling so so full :(

Church Camp

Church camp started on Sun.
I did not stay and only went for the main messages.
Because i've lessons on thur onwards and i've yet to finish up my tutorials.

On Sunday, had breakfast.
And surprisingly, mum told me to drive to church on mon since it was a public holiday and she nd nt drive the car to work.
Haha.
I was rather surprised, because i didn't expect her to allow me to drive without adults around.
Finally, i was able to drive a longer distance.
Previously, dad allowed me to drive to J8 with brother beside me.
Anw, it's gd that they're starting to let me drive the car.
It's been ard 3 mths since i've gotten my licence on 9/9.

So after sunday school class, the youth camp officially started.
The theme for this camp was Amazing Grace.
We had lunch before startingthe usual ice breakers game.
Had games like H2O and the say-the-person's name game.
For latter one, i was so slow, haha, and HE called out my name first.
One by one, ppl in grp 1 were moving over to grp2.
So funny luh.
After that, we had some cleaning up to do.
People who were staying had to clean up their own rooms, etc.
And those who didn't stay, like me, had to help out at the main hall.
Yup so we swept, mopped and washed.
Efficient right.
Haha.
After cleaning, i left to meet the 19th Odac.


On Monday, drove and waited for LY YL and YH, since i'm picking them up at the mrt stn.
So a total of 4 lives (plus my bro) in my hands.
Haha.
It was raining on tt day, and i kept worrying about it before going out of hse.
But thankfully i reached church safely.
Yup.
When we reached church, had breakfast before proceeding to the 2nd message.
After the message, we had grp discussion.

(Points heard and learnt will be summarised below)

Then we had our lunch.
Resting time.
Slept for awhile due to lack of slp for the past few days.
Real life movie.
How a Christian family managed to overcome their problems(rebellious kid, jobs, etc) when they put things in God's hands, rather than trying to manage on their own.
It was a quite touching movie.
Games.
Interesting games prepared by the games IC, esp the last stn, where we had to make our own cheesecake with the given ingredients and instructions, and lastly, use chocolate to write a given character.Wash-up.
Did some maths tutorial. Chatted. Took photos.
Dinner.
3rd message.
Drove back home.


Summary.
The thing that struck me most was the analogy given by Bro Roger.

There was a dad working as a bridge operator. The bridge had to open and close whenever there's a train coming.
One day, his son was curious to find out what exactly is his dad doing as a bridge operator.
So the dad brought his son to work that day.
He explained to his son was he normally does, and showed him how he move the controls, and operate the bridge whenever before a train is able to cross the bridge.
And the son awed in excitement while he dad brought him around.
....
Then while a train was soon to pass by, the father realised that his son was around at his side.
He started to panicked as he couldn't find his son, as the train will be reaching the bridge soon.
And by the time he saw his son, his son was at the gear box.
At that split second, he had 2 choices.
Either to save his son and forgo the lives of the passengers in the train, or the save the lives of the passengers and to forgo the life of his son.
It was a very hard decision to be made by the father.
Realising that it would be selfish to save the life of his son instead of the passengers, he had no choice but to operate the control, and let down the bridge for the train to pass.
It was a brave and difficult moment for the father.
No passengers on the train knew what was happening below, they were still all eating happily on the train, etc.
No one knows that the father has sacrificed his son, in order to save the rest.

The father represents the Father.
The son represents Jesus Christ.
And the passengers represent us.
So just like the story, it clearly presents the picture where it's the will of the Father to give up his loved one, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for us.
So am I like the passengers on board the train who are eating, chatting, and unaware of what is happening? Or I clearly know that actually the father sacrificed his child, so that the train can still safely cross the bridge?
Only me myself will know.

Btw who wants to watch the musical 'Cats'?
It's from 10Apr to 3May 2009 at Esplanade Theatre.
Tickets from $40 to $170.
I'm hoping for the seats at CatB, which cost from $120-$130.
Hopefully there'll still be seats available.

After lesson, met mum and bro at town .
Went a Soup Restaurant at Centrepoint's basement.The rest's signature dish is the Garlie Chicken... (i can't rmb the exact dish name)Mum's pic tt i took didn't turn out nicely as her eyes were closed when i took a picture of her.
Dad is still in Korea.

Anyway, after lunch, we went shopping.

I only bought a pair of Brikenstock, a top and a belt.

Think i'm going to go shopping with my bro again.

I need to get chirstmas presents and search for my CNY clothes.

After shopping, met up with J YH RP CK J for movie at PS.

It was kind of a last min thing.

We decided to watch 'Bolt'.

This is the third movie i've watched this wk.
I'm so broke now.

I used up my this wk's allowance on tue.
Heh.
So my bank's acc decreasing like nobody's business.
Zzz.
If i continue on like this, i think i will take forever to put my money in FD.
Heh.

After the movie ended, we wandered for awhile, before i rushed down for OG6's outing at Zheng4 Fa1 Huo2 Hai3 Xian1.

It was my first time eating there as i usually have home-prepared steamboats.

And when i reached there, the queue was super duper ultra LONG.

I din know it was THAT long when YW told me tt the queue will be long.

Anw, luckily L and BW reached early to queue up.

Counting the number of free days that i have,
I have a total of 7 free days LEFT.
Almost everyday is filled with activities, other than studying.
How pathetic could this be, when my holidays have not even started.
Heh.
My holidays will only start when my exams end in june.

Anyway, will be shopping with my mum at town tml after lesson. (:
Dinner with OG6.
And my sunday is also packed from morning till night.
I'm looking forward to all of it!

Worst Movie Ever

Quarantine is the WORST MOVIE i've ever watched.
It's not even scary at all, there's no story line, and the movie just ended LIKE THAT, yes just like that. And i was like "Huh?! It ended just like that?''

Dark Water, The Ring, Wishing Stairs, Shutter, just to name a few out of many that i've watch, are a million times better.

Heh.
Luckily on mon we didn't watch that movie, or i bet J RP YH will just fall asleep.

With smile detector, touch screen, and you can even design the picture immediately after you've taken the pictures, AND it's super slim as well.

Monday

After lesson, went to catch WildChild with J, RP and YH.
It's a nice movie, and i think that the main characters are super good looking haha.
And it's better than Mean Girls too.
So i'll give a rating of 4/5.

While waiting for the guys to turn up, J and I kept ourselves busy by camwhoring!
Haha.

After the movie, we had our tea break at Gelare.

And this was were we laughed non-stop.
Cracking jokes, eating, chit-chatting and doing some crazy actions.

Haha.
